Good question. The (R) way is to cut taxes of the top 1%, then borrow money to pay for wars that run up our deficit. I guess they think money grows on trees.
As for schools, they don't care if the whole population gets an education or not. If this country were 100% republican with no opposition, we'd be like Haiti, i.e., every man for himself, no free public education, a few super rich people, a higher crime rate, and masses in poverty.
