My girlfriend has been on birth control for the last 4 months, and everytime we've had sex we've used a condom, except about three times, but I never finished inside of her, and we only fooled around like that for like a few seconds before putting on a condom. She was supposed to have her period yesterday morning, but she didnt get it... she still hasnt got it and its aready the night after... she is on a thyroid medication which apparently may lower the effectivness of the pill. But we did have an accident a few months back where a condom broke but she still had her period a few weeks after... this is the second one since then. We're both really freaking out. We're going to get a test tomorrow, but Im just curious to see what your opinions of the chances are? I mean not only would it only have been pre but she is also on the pill... could she be late, for other reasons such as something simple like worrying about this?

STRESS! and worrying can have an effect on getting her period. Take a home test and then if negative do something to get yours and her mind off it. It will come when she doesn't think about it. Could be a week or more, which only makes the stress more and the situation harder to forget about.

If she has hypothyroidism this could be screwing up her regularity with her periods. My mom had this and missed 8 periods once. Nevertheless take your birth control every day, at the same time, don't miss it, and continue to use the condom. Chill Dad!! Merry Xmas!

if she is on the pill and you have been using a condom --- even allowing for the times you did not use it (and pulling out is of NOOOOOO use) i dont think she is pregnant and even if she is its still probably a little early for her to be detectable and yes she could just be late --- best wishes

I don't think she pregnant because unnecessary fright can delay it
