Which would you chose Leather couch or old fashioned couch ?

If you had a choice of a black leather couch for you living room, or a larger, longer old fashioned (with flowers) couch, and you always have fmily or friends staying over night...Which would you chose..The black leather couch is smaller and not comfortable to sleep on, very narrow.

I would have to choose the non leather couch. We have a leather couch and in the winter, on days like today, its so cold when you sit down on it at first. you want it to be nice and warm as soon as you sit down.. how fussy am i? For sleeping on, basically they are terrible.. plus i dont like narrow couches ..

I would go with the leather for the simple reason it has been easier to care for than the cloth because little 4 year old dirty sticky hands are constantly on the couch no matter how much you try to prevent it.

Leather looks cool for a little while, but frankly ...try sitting on it on a cold winter night. You freeze....in the summer...you stick to it. If the comfy sofa look like crap...you can always cover it up with throws. Believe me, you will be regretting it the second you sit on an uncomfortable sofa. Get what works for your butt...

I'd choose leather hun. Mainly because i've got 2 boys under ten years old, and i'm forever washing my cushion covers......lol
