Genesis 1 claims that animals were created before man, Genesis 2 states that man preceded the animals. As Julia Sweeny so aptly phrases it "those who believe in the literal truth of the Bible obviously haven't read past the first chapter."

I would say so, there are contradictions, exaggerations, and a lack of evidence for any of the alleged miracles.
