I wear my pants so that the belt is laying atop my hip bone and that seems where it is very comfortable however I have a friend who makes fun of me saying I am wearing my pants where an old man would wear his. Who is right? BTW, I am not a sagger. I like to look respectable.

I am not stylish either. I'm really not, hence why I don't know the answer to this question hah. I do think it makes me look like I have longer slender legs and a hides my stomach better.

I wear the 'waist band' of my pants around my waist. I don't know if they were intended to be worn this way, but I have always found it comfortable.

What fashion are you following?

In the 50s it was around the waist and it's got lower and lower since then. The latest fashion is to be a sagger. If you don't follow the fashion that's not 'proper' for some people - but equally if you DO then it's not proper for others.

wherever is comfortable for you. you friend can't decide that for you so just wear it how it feels comfortable. I have a friend who wears her pants so high it looks like she's trying to tuck her breast in them...but whatever thats how she likes it.
