Well if the doctor asks why your hymen broke, there are plenty of otherways to have your hymen broken. Tampons.....horseriding etc. Dont be ashamed of having sex, the best option is to tell the doctor the truth and if your parents find out tell them that it was the right moment and you were connected with the guy u did it with and it was special and it was a bond of love or something.

The hymen is the thin membrane that sometimes covers the opening to the vagina if you're a virgin. I say "sometimes" because, even if you haven't had sex, the hymen can do a bit of a disappearing act due to an overzealous workout at the gym, horseback riding, tampons, and even passionate "heavy petting" with your boyfriend. (It's not an impenetrable barrier, anyway, as it has holes to allow menstrual blood to escape.) The doctor will know it's broken, but he won't know what caused it.

Hello sweetheart you don't have to mention your hymen to your doctor at all. And he will not ask you about it, now if you are going in for a routine checkup or a pap smear then there is still no reason to mention your hymen unless your parents request that knowledge. If they want to know if you are still a virgin. Other than that no need to worry you don't have to mention it at all, and there is only one way you can break your hymen so you can't make up other reasons.you will be ok not to worry hon Happy Holidays

He probably won't even know. The hymen can break even from putting in a tampon. But If I was you I would be open and honest with him. He is your doctor so it would be good to tell him that way he can test you for STD's and pregnancy. Talk to him and tell him that you want anything you tell him to remain between you and him. Patient confidentiality.

If you're old enough to have sex, then you're old enough to go into the doctor's office without a parent. The doctor is not allowed, per the confidentiality agreement, to disclose anything to your parents that you don't want him/her to. So, just tell the doctor that you are sexually active and that you need to discuss birth control. I don't know if you need parental permission for any of it, esp if you are using your parents' ins. However, if you want free birth control without your parents knowledge, you should look for your local Family Planning office. You can call the local health dept or WIC (women, infants, and children) office to ask for the number. Trust me, they will help you.

If he does a physical, he'll figure it out.
Don't be afraid to tell your doctor you're having sex. He can't tell your parents, it's against the law. But you need to be aware of all the risks of STDs (as well as pregnancy - that will be hard to hide from your parents). If you're not taking the pill, get on it and use protection whenever you have sex.

That is not the only way that a hymen can be broken and doctors know this. Riding a bicycle or a horse can do it. If he asks, just say no. It is none of his business what you do in your personal life unless it is a matter of your health.

Many, maybe most girls don't have an intact hymen at the time of first intercourse anyway, so your doctor will not equate no hymen with sexually active, but if the Dr asks if you are sexually active tell the truth, it may be important to an issue they are trying to help you with. beleive me, we dont ask if we dont need to know......

Its common for it to break from bike riding, etc. The doctor probably won't ask. Also, I think there is the issue of dr./patient confidentiality. Don't worry about it! If all else fails, just tell the truth.

The hymen does not mean you have or haven't had sex. They are easily broken - I broke mine going down a water slide at 13. Exercises, horse back riding, stretching - many things can lead to it.
Your doctor shouldn't say anything to your parents anyway.
