There will be a halo 4, except it wont be called that. Something like halo chronicles, it will be a trillogy with episodes, sorta like Half life 2 episodes. Except they won't really be playable. Suposedly a movie where you can decide outcomes or something. Perhaps like dragons lair.

You don't think there will be a Halo 4 because he freezes himself at the end of Halo 3? That's RIDICULOUS! That scene is great symmetry because at the beginning of the very first Halo you are getting thawed out from being frozen!!! Why would that mean that he couldn't come back for a Halo 4.
Now, Bungie has said Halo 3 will be the last one. And given their split from Microsoft, I'm leaning towards believing them. But when you consider the insane amount of money Halo 3 pulled in, they may be tempted to dip into the franchise again. But if it happens at all, it probably won't be for a while.

I dont think there will be any halo for a while, bungie wants to try other stuff or thats what i heard, but it is a possibility to have a halo 4 but i wouldnt count on that, the only reason i believe there could be another one is cause it made so much money and how much it would make and the fact that masterchief is "still alive". It would be a surprise for me to have a master chief game again and if there is, no chance it would arrive at this console gen.

of course there will be a halo 4. it might not be called halo though more like marathon will continue the story of master cheif. and bungie did NOT say that this is the end they said its the final game in that story arc.

it's not if you watch the ending over and over(hehe)you'll notice it. they liek to always end trilogies by having the person dead but not so they can tease all of us fans with the thought.
