I have actually known of cysts that increased in size more often than they have gone down. You should probably get it examined by a dermitologist for a professional opinion. If you do have it removed, it's really not that big of a deal. It can be done in the office with a local.

Cysts usually can be drained surgically removed by a doctor.

My husband had one on the back of his head one time. it started about half the size of a pencil eraser and gradually increased tp the size of a dime before he saw a Doctor. Unfortunately my stubborn husband now has a scar about half and inch long on his head that stands out. Get to a Doctor as soon as possible to avoid a similar situation.
