I like this guy that I don't know very well. I talk to him but I don't really know much about him. My friend Christine likes him too. She asked him out about 4 times, and he said no everytime. I brought it up this morning. His exact words were: "I don't like her, I never have, never will. EVER. I'd never say yes to her." I was sort of relieved. I asked him why, and he said "I like someone else, a lot." I forgot what I said, but he said "That's stupid." I said, "You're stupid!" And I walked away. I was just joking! Later, he said yes to Christine! I was crushed. Of course, she's my friend, and I really do feel happy for her. I was driving her to her car after school, and that was all she could talk about. I talked to her of course, but I felt sad. I can't tell her that I've liked him! I really don't know what to do, because I REALLY like this guy. He's funny, hot, charming, athletic, dang I don't know what to do! I think I ruined my chance? Did he like me before? What should I do?!

We always joke around like that, so I really don't know what happened.

Yes, you screwed up. You were supposed to ask him who he liked, so he could say, "you". Now he's someone else's boyfriend, so step back, be happy for your friend and the next time an opportunity like that comes around, don't call the guy stupid. Guys, and girls, don't like that.

Of course he liked you before! That is why he said yes to Christine, to bug you. You heard him say that he would never like her, so why would he act the opposite? You did not ruin your chance, but this guy sounds kind of sensitive. Maybe try to laugh more if you are joking, and make sure he knows. But express that you liked him. You need to tell him so then he will stop seeing Christine and will see you. Things wont just come up magically, my dear. =] I've got a bit of experience in this field chica.

I'm guessing she likes him more? She's the one who constantly asked him. In the end, it paid off.

I think that if you really liked the guy, then you should spend time with him as a friend. Then he will probably start to like you (unless you were that girl he likes that he was deterred from when you said he was stupid?).

Yes, I am also very interested in what happens in the end.

He might have liked you beofer, but chances are that they will break up soon after he said that he would never go out with her, so he probably likes someone else and jsut said yes cause he was tired of being asked

Do you know why he said yes to your friend Christine?

Apologize to him and tell him how you felt about him. Heck, just print out your question here and give it to him with the apology.

He probably felt you were trying to push him to date your friend, so since he thought well of you he decided he might be wrong about her after all and asked her out.

I don't think he likes Christine; he just finally caved in to her persistence. He'll lose interest in her soon, (not that he ever had much interest in her). Maybe he'll turn his attention to you..... ya tink?!!
