You have to talk to her about it. Try not to hurt her feelings, but show her that you're man enough to do it face to face. Girls are sensitive so you have to be careful about your choice of words. Give this some thought before you go through with it, but don't put it off for too long if you've really lost all feelings for her.

Nothing you do or say will seem kind enough. So just tell her it is over and don't let her pressure or guilt you into "giving it another try".
Look, she's young. This is her first relationship. There will be many others and she will heal as soon as some new dude comes along and makes her feel special.
You, my friend, need to mature a bit and learn to just say it to her face. That is the mature and responsible thing to do. This crap of breaking up by texting, or through a friend, or a note...Those are all inconsiderate ways of delivering this kind of news.

No, all girls do NOT do that
I dated a guy for 7 years and then we got married....and I was 34 at the time.
Best advice....do it sooner than later and be honest. I was hurt B4 and it is really bad.
Just let her down gently. You may want to wait til after Christmas though so you do not ruin her Christmas....just distance yourself from her. Then again, you don't want to ruin your own so maybe go ahead and get it over with. Best of luck!

Its important to do this in person and you want to be firm but kind. Talk to your friend ahead of time and explain that you feel it is best for his sister and for you that you end the relationship and ask his opinion on how he thinks the kindest, let him know that you want him to be there to support his sister. This will help protect your relationship with him. Then get together with the girl and be honest, firm and kind and just tell her its time to move on. There is no getting around that she will be upset but if it is truely over for you then be honest and clear in your feelings

ya that's really obsessive. i don't make me bf feel like he has to stay with me or that he has to ask me to marry him or anything like that. it's his choice if he wants to. I think you should breka up with her regardless of who's friends with who and your friend should still be your friend. I hate when guys say, I'll kick your *** if you break my sister's heart, it's like sometimes it doesn't work out and she will be heart broken but every relationship you learn from and she will grow up and you will find someone better for YOU
