In my house...the bedroom with no bed it in is called the "spare room" and it gets used for whatever it is needed for at the time. :)

Anything you want! An office, a den, a gameroom, a prayer room, a storage room, a pantry, a room for emergencies, like when a tornado or hurricane hits, an extra closet, etc. etc.

i think you call a room accordingly to how you use it if there's games in it its a game room if there's a couch chairs it could be a lounge - living room... now if there's no bed and you still sleepin in it, its a bedroom. so it all depends whats in the said room.

Whatever takes your fancy ! A hobby room.A sometime nursery. Futonless.A backsider.Put a suitcase in it and call it a Luggage Compartment.A non-sleepover room.

I call it my office. It could be called a sewing room or a guestroom, it could have a blowup bed in it. You could put your tv in and call it the tv room. Almost anything.
