Shouting smacking dosent work. You need to think about what he can do that he enjoys a child plays up when there board or frustrated. Say he likes painting you tell him you will paint with him abd if he helps clear up he can have a small treat. Use a good boy chart as well every time he does something good and listens he gets a star or smiley face sticker which he can put on himself and at the end of the week or two weeks if he has say 80% good stars he can have a treat that hes asked for like a trip to the zoo of an dressing up outfit. Praise him when he is good and give him time out when he is bad 5mins on a naughty step and increase by 2mins if he still gets up or plays up. Also buy a naugty toy box when he is bad and you have told him 3 times take his best toys away and put it in he box out of reach for a week and when he is good return it . When you speak to him lower youself to his level looking at him eye to eye and explain what you want clearlry.
Also make sure your parents do this as hes your brother not your son.
If your brothers older stop pocket money, ground him. Shouting gets you know where.

Usually younger siblings do this for attention. they say negative attention (being in trouble) is better than no attention at all. So make sure the little one is getting enough attention. Teach him to be silly or funny and he will get more attention from others in a positive way! Good luck

Discipline should be done by his parents. But the simple answer is: Give him consequences for his actions and then follow through with them. Make sure that the punishment fits the crime but be firm on what happens after he disobeys. also discuss why he should not do these things.

Really it should be up to your parents to discipline him when he disobeys others. Children follow the example of mom and dad more than anybody. But if you're parents are lacking the skills maybe if you see him doing something he shouldnt....correct him? Its not your job to punish him but you can help by correcting his behavior in a positive way.

Get his parents to take away privileges. Such as if he is older and can drive take his keys. If he is younger no computer, tv, ipod, ect for a certain amount of time. If he is a child take away toys or fobid him to go to a friends house when he misbehaves. Lay down the law and be strick. He'll catch on. Good luck with him.

Call super nanny in!
Ok no.. make sure you praise him for the good things and do not acknowledge and give him attention when he is naughty. Kids actions are based on getting responses from people, so make sure you train him to do positive deeds to get attention.
luck!
PS: Try leave the work to your parents!

That depends, how old is your brother? If he's four like mine he's probably scared of the dark, right? You just lock him in a room or something, he cries a lot, shuts up, and then he knows how it feels. So whenever he doesn't listen to someone just threaten him that you'll lock him up in the dark room. It worked for my brother, hope it works for yours.

He is seeking attention. Try to divert his attention to positive things instead of rewarding the bad behavior with attention.
