He is the uncreated creator, the uncaused cause. If He were created, then the one who created Him would be God. He is completely self-existent, has no need of anyone or anything, that is what I AM means, which is what He told Moses was His name. If He were a created being, this would not be true.
Exo 3:13 And Moses said to God, Behold, I shall come to the sons of Israel and say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you; and they will say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them?
Exo 3:14 And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and He said, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

An Atheist point of fact -
According to believers, it doesn't make sense anything we see around us doesn't have a Creater - so that's why god exists (I know there's a little more but this is just an example!) Well... If you look around you, that's right. Everything you see had a beginning and will have an end.
I have asked believers where god came from, they say "he was always there and always will be". And they believe that very strongly, admitting there is no actual evidence of which, just a sentence in the bible.
Well, could you or anyone explain to me how it is possible to have no beginning or end? No one can - because we have never actually seen/experianced anything that doesn't have a beginning or end.
So - if someone says they believe God has always been there, and know they can't possibly understand it because it's beyond our comprehension, how can someone tell me there is no way a god didn't create us? Maybe it's just beyond our comprehension......

Since God is *the* Creator, He didn't need to be created! He "stands" outside of time and eternity! Thus the phrase, "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever!"
Edit: My Dear "Loren B", You ask, "Well, could you or anyone explain to me how it is possible to have no beginning or end? No one can - because we have never actually seen/experianced anything that doesn't have a beginning or end." My answer to that is, please look at a circle! God Bless!

god did create the world and all beings...
and he also said that if you dwell on questions such as that then you will become mad eventually...
(no disrespect intended)
God always was, always is, and always will be thats just the way it is...
don't think about it too much...
we are poor puny human beings who have been set upon the earth to see if we can pass the test of life without falling on the wrong path...
take care

If scientific reasoning created the world and all beings, what created science?

God was always there and he will always be there, here, basically everywhere. He is the beginning, middle, and the end. He is infinite. He says in the Bible, that as humans we cannot understand him, for he is too great. He says, "I am, that I am. " Pretty self explanatory. If you want to know more, you can always read the Bible, it's useful and helpful! I hope this helps!

Who knows, certainly not religious people. You get various bible quotes and cod philosophy but most of those are intellectually a dead end. If you believe in God just be happy with that. Most religious people seem to be and if not 'Faith' seems to fill the gap

When you can let go of that question and then realize God is the current name we use along with others......and finally God has no time line, only we do.......then you can move on.

God said "I am that I am." He is the alpha and the omega - beginning and the end. God always was and always will be. Eternal is a concept that our finite minds just don't really understand.
