Why do you dramatically ask "Pls help urgently asap" when you are wasting time on the computer?! What do you think strangers who are not in your area and have never even SEEN your dog, let alone examined him, going to do?! If your dog needs urgent help you should be ASKING YOUR VET. If his limping is the result of the rabies shot, then your VET should be taking care of him! Stop wasting time on the computer, get up off your lazy butt and call your VET! If your dog is "crying continuously" that is NOT normal as you well know and you need to get him into THE VET. How many times will people like you make these dramatic pronouncements - all while you sit on your butt and allow your dog to suffer?! If this had been a medical emergency with blood spurting all over your dog would be dead by the time you got through farting around on the computer.

GET GOING.

The injections are quite painful, they have to go in to the muscle of the leg, he's probably quite bruised and won't feel like walking on it. If you're worried - and you obviously are - contact the vet who did the vaccination. I don't actually think you should have anything to worry about but I knows it's horrible and scary seeing your pet in pain. Please call a vet.

EDIT: The nerve in the hind leg people are referring to is the sciatic nerve - I do not think this has been affected because the dog would've SCREAMED in agony and would have lost all use of his leg right away. I also do not think this is a generalised vaccine reaction; this is usually characterised by inappetance, vomiting, lethargy, or localised swelling at the site. It really does sound like localised pain from the needle - you really need to call a vet for proper advice!!

Sounds like a reaction.

My dog got a large lump on her thigh when she got a shot, and that is normal for some time afterwards.

She had the lump for about a week or so, and like I said, the Vet said it was normal, but to watch it.

So do the logical thing - Call your Vet.

Well if i were you i would listen to your vet and NOT your mother's friends because be smart... the vet knows more about dogs and diseases than ur mom's friends... I would wait because almost half of america probably walked in the dirt you will and your dog will have 50% chance of getting a disease when not with his shot... when will you give him the shot?? well i wouldn't risk my dog from getting a disease. my pitbull got his shot about 2 months ago and he had to stay in the house i wouldn't let him go anywhere except the backyard to do his duty....and in the house......................well as they always say- Better Safe Than Sorry!

sounds like a possible reaction, and you need to get back to the vet asap. Have you rang the vet to see what they say? I would take him in.

Call your vet IMMEDIATELY. Negative reactions to vaccines are something that need to be brought to the vet's attention.

Allergic reactions are not uncommon - call vet back asap

You need to contact the vet that gave him his vaccines. There is a possibility that the needle hit a nerve running down the hind leg where this vaccine is usually given.

my shiba got a shot for something instead of pills one time, like heartworm i think, and her snout swelled up huge, it could be from an allergic reaction like my shiba had
