Driving 6 hours by yourself is scary and awesome. You should take your car so you can bring your stuff and go get stuff when you get there. Also you get this great sense of maturity being on your own so far from home. It is a wonderful experience and def take your car so you never get stuck anywhere!
Have fun!

I travel between the USA and Canada a few times each year. Even though my drive is 10 hours one way, I prefer to drive primarily because of flexibility and conveniance.

I can leave anytime I want. I can delay my departure as much as I want. If I'm delayed, I don't have to worry about missing a flight and having to change my tickets. I can take anything I need in the car with me and not have to haul it to and from an airport. I can take more junk in my car than if I was flying. I can drive directly from my house to my destination and not have to worry about getting to and from an airport to where I'm going. I can take along comfort items including food and drinks that I like and not settle for what the airlines offer. I have more space to stretch and relax than the cramped seating on an airplane. And in a car, I am in control, not someone else. So I can adjust my travel time as necessary.

moving into the dorms you are going to have like a million things, clothes, appliances, food, etc. its probably a good idea to drive out there becuase you cant bring your multiple suitcases, microwave, lamp, etc. on the plane with you. plus, flying, how will you get from the airport to campus? even though most schools have busses to the airports, they arent going to have room for all you stuff. i mean, if you *have* to you can ship stuff ahead, but i would recommend driving.

i would drive. You'll want to have a car on campus so you can get around at your leisure. Plus, are you really gonna fly home every other weekend? But it's up to you! There's pros & cons to each one. Good luck!

I would definitely drive, then you'll have your car with you at school. Six hours isn't that bad - just make a stop for lunch somewhere to stretch your legs! :-)

You won't save much time , if any, flying as opposed to driving, these days.

I would drive....#1 it's a LOT cheaper, #2 it's a LOT more fun, and #3.......well, you don't have to stand in line to check-in, line for security, line for boarding....you get the point!
