The lowest fare very well could be on El Al, as the first repondent indicated, or it might be from one of the myriad other airlines that service that route, as a subsequent answerer suggests with the listing of fares.

The fact is, airfares change very rapidly in response to consumer demand and seat inventory; sometimes quite literally from minute to minute. Because of this, the best way to pinpoint the very lowest fare is a "roll-up" site that searches multiple travel search engines for you.

My personal favorite is Kayak.com. They search the usual suspects like Expedia, Travelocity, CheapoAir and BookingBuddy, but also the airlines' own websites, like Continental.com, etc. As such, they do all the work for you and return the lowest fare available. They even have a handy feature that will send you email alerts if the fare drops for a route you've selected. Additionally, if you're flexible with your dates, they'll determine exactly what days have the lowest fares.

And no, I don't work for Kayak, I just love their site. I used to travel frequently with a large group, and we'd all play a "game" in which the person who found the lowest fare won a free dinner compliments of the other players. I had many, many free meals because of Kayak.

Good luck, and enjoy your trip to Israel!

It's difficult to say, as airline fees can change randomly, and while one airline is cheaper at time x it could be more expensive at time y. I would investigate flying Delta through Atlanta, or Continental/El Al/Israir through New York. Each airline has a website and if you input your requested itinerary they will provide price estimates. Good Luck.

Find yourself a cheap fare to London then go EasyJet to Tel Aviv..This is the cheapest way.
