They lived on this earth for about 160 million years and you just seem to ignore it when it comes to the bible. Who do you think created the dinosaurs and all the animals that lived before them? What would make God leave that out of the bible? They're aren't insignificant, even their death is important to us because it changed the earth to make it what it is today, livable for humans.

The earth is believed to have formed 4.54 billion years ago... if it only took a thousands of years for all of this that would be completely amazing to me.

Behemoths aren't dinosaurs, they were created along with man. Dragons are a myth and the leviathan was also created with man and had multiple heads... i can't really say i'll believe that either.

Actually the Torah mentions giant lizards that are generally accepted to mean dinosaurs.

There are a lot of creatures that are not mentioned in the Bible. A very controversial issue is the age of the earth, but the Bible tells of the great flood in the time of Noah, and all animals and people were destroyed, except those on the ark. The dinosaurs probably lived in the period before the flood. If you check with the Creation Museum in Kentucky, they show people and dinosaurs living at the same time. In fact, real footprints of dinosaurs and humans are together in a couple of places on earth. Makes you wonder how it all really happened.

Scientists are still debating the age of the earth, so I would not be so quick to assume that it is at least 160 million years old. As to whether or not dinosaurs are left out of the bible, I would be so quick to assume that either! There is some speculation as to whether the book of Job in the Old Testament refers to dinosaur or dinosaur-like creatures. See Job 40 for a description of a "behemoth" and Job 41 for the "leviathan." Here is a sample from Job 40:15-18 "Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron." Some Bible translations have a footnote suggesting that this is a hippopotamus but I don't know when was the last time I saw a hippo with a tail that looked like a cedar tree.

Good question. Some Christians believe that the Bible is the complete and total word of God, lacking nothing. Thus, there are various theories, including that the dinosaur bones were put here by the Devil to dinosaurs were on the planet at the same time as man. You are right that no Christian canonical scriptures address dinos, and I am not aware of any apocrypha that do (but I am no expert there).
Non-literalists (like me) accept the scientific evidence for dinos, and do not believe that dinos are inconsistent with the Biblical accounts of creation. Rather, we look at the stories of creation in Genesis as allegorical. You are right to think that some Christians believe that God created the dinosaurs and all other pre-human life too. In my camp we are just happy to know that God exists and we tend to not question His work. Who are we to judge how He does things?
My experience with both conservative (creationist) churches and non-literalist churches is that few really deal with dinos, as we are too occupied with trying to figure out what to do with all of our current personal and social issues. Those churches that do make a fuss about creation vs. evolution are really concerned about the implications of the Bible not being literal. They fear that if people stop believing that everything in the Bible is literal, those people will stray from the guidance and precepts of the Bible. Make sense?

Some christians believe that God created the Earth around 6000 years ago, others think God created the Eartth way before. All of us agree that all things in the universe were created by God; that would include all the dinosaurs that have existed. As a matter of fact some of us believe that there are a few references to creatures not existing today that some point to be dinosaurs in the Bible.
So we are not "writting off" any of God creatures.

look up Leviathan and Behemoth. Also, Dragon in King James Version.
They're there, in the Bible. Can you prove that the earth is 160 million years old?

God didn't leave that out of the Bible. Read Job 40. It speaks of the leviathan and behemoth, both dinosaurs. And by the way, I've never met anyone, Christian or not, who didn't know dinosaurs existed.

Christians don't write off dinosaurs they just say they were all wiped out in the global flood which is just as possible as them being wiped out by an asteriod like scientists think.
The only descrepency is the time line but dinosaurs existed that much is certain
OH yeah also Job chapter 40 to chapter-41 describes them in a vision shown by God it also accounts for DRAGONS

They are in the bible. The leviathan, the behemoth, and dragons are mentioned in the Bible. The word "dinosaur" was not coined until 1841by Sir Richard Owen.

Not all religions do. As a matter of fact, some people think that God did make the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th day. Today just might be day 8 for God. His days are a lot longer then our days. His 7 days may be equal to our 5 billion (or so) years.

Many people who consider themselves religious understand that dinosaurs once roamed the earth and their part in the evolution of living things. The people who wrote the bible didn't include them because people hadn't figured out the significance of fossils yet when the bible was written. Remember that dinosaurs lived long before men existed.
