Are these good excercies for the winter when you can't go run or anything?
-jumping on a mini trampoline for 20-25 minutes
-jumping rope for 20 minutes
-excersise dvd for 20-30 minutes

Are these both good, healthy snacks?
-lightly salted mixed nuts and raisins(a serving)
-1 slice of 100% whole wheat bread with 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
Both are about 200 calories so I would think so.......

Anyway, I'm not trying to lose weight(don't need to) just stay healthy during the winter, thanks :)

IT all sounds good. Other great healthy snacks are apple slices, a boiled egg, or a slice of chese. Regarding the exercises - I don't know about the mini-trampoline, but if you work up a sweat, then it is good. Jumping rope is good - excellent, actually - and if you can jump rope for 20 minutes you are in better shape than 90% of Americans, who can't jump rope for 2 minutes. And the exercise DVD is good, if you work up a sweat. You want to get yourself sweaty and breathing heavy.

Regarding the snacks -- the nuts have a lot of calories, so if you eat more than a handful, you are probably eating too many. 1 slice of whole wheat bread is o.k., but the peanut butter has a lot of calories in it.

The snacks are ok if your total calories for the day are low.

sounds great, i love the jumping rope, what a great thing to do, so many of us go for the treadmill or what ever but the skipping rope is a lost cardio exercise but a wonderful one that is simple and cheap and works so well. Keep up the good work and thanks.

I would say yes they are all great. You might not have to go without running. If you belong to a gym or have a treadmill at home you can actually run without hurting your throat by breathing in all that cold air.
