Probably because the Bible is not a biology text.

Why should it have? I find it no big deal that we share characteristics with primates. Why would we need to have such different DNA? Would that prove something or disprove something to you?
It would have been weird for the bible to mention DNA, certainly since DNA is a man made word made a little while back. I suppose most people in the 1800's wouldn't have known what the bible was even talking about.

Because the Bible doesn't bother to try to answer every fool's question that comes along. God said He hides himself from the proud, the arrogant, the mocker, the scoffer, and the critic. If you want some REAL answers, ask some REAL questions. But if you just want to be rude and obnoxious, keep asking these types of question - you're on a roll.
By the way, how many base pairs do humans have, and how many does a primate have?
According to YOUR logic, a submarine evolved from a fish, since it is so similar!

Simply put Sir,
The Bible is GOD's instruction what has happened in the past, how you should live your life now in the present, and what will happen in the future. As for the question of differentiality between the DNA of humans vs primates, I would venture to say, GOD was not concerned with it in the manner of which you may be. Seeing as HE created both, HE already knew it, and since their is no need to link them, why watse time with that when it has no bearing on you gettign to heaven.
I mean, it is great if you are a researching biologist, looking for like cures, but in heaven you won't need any cures or comparisons to animals. Animals are instinctive, humans are emotional, they are not related.

Kind of naive question. Why should it? That's not what the Bible is about. Nowhere in the US constitution does it say what humans and primates DNA so similar because that's not what the US constitutoin is about.

The bible is an esoteric allegory. It's not a narrative about about history or DNA...
Perhaps you should try to perceive it through another perspective besides being so reactive towards fundamentalism. Fundi's don't represent the spirit of the scriptures, but rather they are entry level in their understanding.

The same reason the Bible doesn't mention prehistoric age and the dinosaurs. When it was written the apostles didn't know about that stuff and if you belive God wrote it. Then God didn't think it was important enough to mention the Ice Age or dinosaurs.

It dones't prove descendence, only similarity. Also people and primates are more than simply a sequence of amino acids.

You want to know why God does not answer that question. Because it is not important. God does not worry about His children because He knows they will hear His voice. So those who dont get stuck on unimportant things like why DNA is similar in humans and animals.
