I heard that as long as a cut, scratch, mark anything like that still has redness to it..that it means its still healing...is that true???..

no, if the cut is still red it could be the sign of a free bleeder or low White Blood cells. as a wound heals it should clotting and preventing bacteria from entering. The scarring of cuts and wounds shows how the body can heal itself because it has built that barrier of "dried blood"..

unsolicited info: for me personally when I get a cut I'm applying NEAT essential oil of Lavender. If one does that and can't take lavender neat then mix with a carrier oil like hazelnut oil.

depends on the depth and severity of the cut, on going redness can also indicate infection.

It's infected if it's red. See a doctor.
