I think when it's one hundred degrees outside and people are sitting in their pools, ponds, rivers and lakes drinking margaritas they have a much better feeling about global warming, than they do about being trapped in their house for days shivering and waiting for the ice to melt. Few people view global warming as a threat, when old man winter shows up people get a taste of what climate change is all about.

The only thing snow in your backyard proves is that it snowed in your area recently. It has nothing to do with global warming. Having said that, however, there is so much junk science being thrown around out there by both sides (much of which is being funded by environmentalist groups on one side and industrialists on the other) that it's practically impossible to tell with any degree of accuracy whether global warming is happening or not. For the sake of argument, let's assume global warming is happening: It's still impossible to tell what's really causing it and whether there's anything we can do about it. I'm all for reducing emissions of any type of harmful gas and I'm all for further efforts to protect the environment, but I'm very bothered by the doom-and-gloom environmentalists that are peddling global warming as FACT and polluting the minds of our youth by saying global warming is a reality when the truth is they really don't know what they're talking about. There's a big difference between encouraging people to do their part to protect God's green Earth and whipping people up into a panic over something that may very well be a figment of someone's overactive imagination.

i think of you may choose a technological know-how classification. because of the fact in case you think of that a protracted time of dumping in spite of we'd have loved into the air and rivers, mixed with scaling down rainforests, polluting our oceans to the track of a much-huge trash whirlpool interior the Pacific, detonating above and underground nuclear weapons, miles of lifeless and demise coral reefs, loss of plant and animal species, the outlet of artic sea lanes interior the iciness ...are all certainly happening and ordinary, then i choose a number of what you're smoking. Warming could bring about warmer temperatures interior the northern factors (like the place those pesky ice caps are) and placed extra moisture interior the air, and definite, in iciness that moisture could be dumped farther south and east because of the fact the jet pass takes it around...SO persist with me right here...No snow in Vancouver....various snow in Virginia......nah that may not take place...... bear in mind as quickly as we've been advised that there grew to become into no evidence that cigarettes brought about maximum cancers? Do you nevertheless have faith that company spin too?.... because of the fact what you're saying is....each little thing is "ordinary" not something we do or have ever achieved outcomes this planet.....stop enjoying "partisan roulette" and open your eyes. Edit: Sorry your question is now voided..you sourced the every day Mail. You do comprehend its a TABLOID newspaper good?

I'm not sure of where you live in California, but say you live in San Diego and you started to have a trend where it started snowing down there every winter for let's say 5 years. I would say Global warming was over and we were heading solidly into another Ice Age.
So let's go to my neck of the woods here in Minnesota. We hadn't had significant snowfalls in December for a good 5 years. Now a couple of those years were due to it being too cold to snow, but others were caused by being too warm to snow. But this year we got snow in December. If we continue to have Snow in December and start getting it in November again, like it did when I was much younger, I'd say we are no longer experiencing Global Warming.
I would also bet if that happened for a solid five to ten years those Ice Caps people are so worried about in the Arctic Ocean would be growing again instead of melting.

Global Warming is real as is Acid Rain and Air Pollution. Some people just don't react until is smells like a cesspool in their own backyard.
When people just mention the name Al Gore I know that they don't have any real knowledge or any clue about global warming but instead are just mindless antagonists of Al Gore; who is the one who has been recognized by the global community.
The antagonists of course are unknown wannabes trying to express their anguish in a Q&A forum and I would venture to guess that they also don't take part in the efforts to recycle because they think that the environmentalist are all a bunch of quacks as well.
Unfortunately it will be the small minded people that will lead to the demise of this planet.

You can believe whatever you want. It doesn't make you right. A few snowfalls proves nothing. Look at the scientific evidence, not Rush Limbaugh. Even Jerry Falwell thinks global warming is occurring. I'm sure many "Christians" no longer like the guy because of that.

You just can't educate a closed mind! Seems to me that politics take precedent over logic in this society. Sad isn't it!
