The bones in a cats tail are an extension of their spine, with all the same bones and veins and nerves. So if you pull their tale, not only will it hurt the poor kitty, it could also do damage to their back and spine. Kitties that are playing do not pull hard enough to seriously hurt, but if they are fighting, or getting too rough and you hear cries then please do something. Also humans, even babies, toddlers etc... are stronger than kitties, so please supervise any kids around your kitty, especialy if they are the type that are interested in the moving tail, that so many kids are and just want to touch and explore, but don't understnd that it could hurt the kitty, not to mention the kitty could have enough and hurt them.
This same info is the same for doggies and their spines, and most other animals with tails, with exception to a few.

Yes, it hurts them. You shouldn't pull the tail anymore, because you are stronger than any cat that will play with them.

nope not something to agonize approximately, its form of like your hair being pulled, it incredibly is going to harm for a on an analogous time as then the soreness is going away. Dont subject cats are lots extra extra effective than they seem, i understand of a cat that had her tail run over by using a vehicle, she became into in alot of soreness yet not something that she couldnt triumph over, the vet pronounced she became into nice, i became into astonished yet relieved not something became into broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your kitty would be nice.xx
