Christians have no verses which specifically say "Jesus is God" (or that to some extent) Besides "I and the father am one" and "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God" (Word =Jesus).

I have 2 verses that say Jesus was created. Hebrews 1-4

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

and also Colossians 1:13-17

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

So these say Jesus was made and that he was the first creation.

So which is it? Is Jesus God, or a creation of God?

Your question is a perfect example why we as Christians cannot interpret the scriptures ourselves. We must depend upon the Holy Roman Catholic Church to teach and explain what the foundations of our faith are. The true Gospel of Christ was in trusted to his disciples and spread by word of mouth. The Holy Bible is the creation of the Church of Rome. We must look to her to help us understand what the scriptures mean.

The Trinity is One. We do not confess three Gods, but one God in three persons, the "consubstantial Trinity". The divine persons do not share the one divinity among themselves but each of them is God whole and entire: "The Father is that which the Son is, the Son that which the Father is, the Father and the Son that which the Holy Spirit is, i.e. by nature one God." In the words of the Fourth Lateran Council (1215), "Each of the persons is that supreme reality, viz., the divine substance, essence or nature." RCC

Well the problem is most people think that creation in the bible means to creat something from nothing. That is not possible. That is the whole problem with many scientific theories about our existence. I guess if more people understood our pre-existence and that we were organized and not simply created out of thin air, then there would be less of an argument. The fact that Jesus was put in charge of leading the noble and great ones to organize this world we live on. does not make Him the Father. He is called that title because of the rolls He fulfills in the great plan, but He is not our spiritual father, but our spiritual brother. That is why we can become joint heirs with Christ in the kingdom of God. But He is a created being in the sense that we were all spiritually created by the Father and the only begotten in the flesh.

According to the apostolic tradition, he was God. Since the bible is part of apostolic tradition, along with certain art (Luke painted), songs, practices, beliefs and services, the bible should be interpreted in light of the rest of what was handed down by the apostles. Apostolic tradition also states he was fully human. Hence the hangup with Mary, the kecharitomene passage in Luke, and the crucifixion.

Now, if Jesus was not God, then I would also say he was not a creation either, but rather there is no creation as that presumes a creator. In that case, I would come down on the side of no god at all. As such, Jesus of the New Testament was just an ordinary animal that caused a lot of trouble for local authorities.

Jesus is the son of God, as mentioned a zillion times in the Bible. God the Father, and his Son Jesus form part of the godhead along with the Holy Ghost. All three are ONE......in purpose, but three in form.

Jesus created the earth, under the direction of his father.

Jesus was God's first creation. The Bible never refers to Jesus as God (many bible translate John 1:1 as "and the word was a god", as calling him God would be an improper translation of the source text)

Jesus was clear to point out that the father was greater than he was. Also, Jesus prayed on several occasions... To whom? Not himself, obviously.

Jesus is called the Son of God. He can not be thee God as while he was on the cross he cried out to his father in heaven, not to himself. Tho Jesus' biological father was Joseph. Jesus was descended from Kings as was his earthly father Joseph whose lineage was King David.
What interpretation of the Bible do you read?
Before trying to make sense of the Holy Bible one must understand it was written by 1st century man who still believed the earth to be flat.
Example; It is written Jesus was born from a virgin. You need to know in that day the marriage ceremonies were done in 3 steps. 1st Mary vowed to marry Joseph while she was a physical virgin. She and Joseph could not wait and it resulted in Mary becoming pregnant during her virginity stage. Thus Jesus was born of a virgin. Had she not become pregnant, Joseph and she would have been married for 3 years. If a child resulted in the 3 years then a 2nd marriage occured and was final. If no child was born to the couple within the 3 years they could seperate if they wanted or stay together.

Jesus was a man like any other, a particularly good man, but a man. That being said, are we not all the creation of God. Whatever deity one belives in, we believe that he, she, it, or they were our creators.
Christians worry way too much about silly details that truly have no meaning or significance.
Christianity is a religion that discourages independent thought. If one begins to think about their double talk, they would realize what insanity it really is. When anything doesn't make sense, like Judge Judy says, "it usually isn't true."
We are all the sons and daughters of god, believe that and the world will become a much better place.

You are correct. Jesus is God's beloved firstborn spiritual creation. By means of him all other things were created. A reading of the Gospels without any preconceived notion makes it absolutely clear that Jesus and his Father are two different beings.

Simple common sense questions should make one wonder: One example. Jesus' final words while on earth. Matthew 28:18... "all authority has been GIVEN me in heaven and on earth" Well, if he's God, who is it that gave him this authority? It also answers how he could forgive sin without being God himself. He was given that authority by his Father.

Jesus is God. Only God can forgive sin and Jesus clearly showed himself as God by forgiving the woman caught in adultery's sin.

John 8

...before Abraham was I Am.

I AM was God's name as told to Moses. That is why the Jews tried to stone Him for blasphemy.
