Of course not. The bible says Give! until it hurts. such giving is not 'moderation'. People succeed at things just because they have passionately pursued their cause. Moderation gives mediocre results. It is only the 'vices' (summarised as sex, booze and Rock'n-roll ) that the moderation advice refers to.

I would venture to say that there is never enough of the gifts of the Holy Spirit....love, peace, joy, hope, etc., but these are the only things that come to mind that one cannot get too much of without them becoming adulterated.
