It seems that those theists that are most comfortable with the idea of eternal torment are the ones that are more familiar with the concept of "justice." For example, here is a theist in answer to a previous question:
"...all men have a natural, innate, understanding and love for equity. And so, though I once thought that MY God would never put souls in Hell for anything, I changed my mind once I realized how natural the concept of Justice is to us, and how we all hope, at the end of the day, that Justice will prevail, either in this life or the next."
I personally don't hope for eternal torment for anyone, nor can I accept anyone that espouses such doctrine, and being atheist I supposedly may as well announce my allegiance to Satan. So seeing that even the allegedly "evil" rebuke eternal torment, is it fair to say that it is most likely reserved for those that believe in and accept it as truth?

As you are an atheist, I presume you consider burden of proof to be on the one making a positive claim. Without such proof the negative claim stands. By such standards, it would not be fair to claim that only believers/subscribers are subject to eternal hell without submitting evidence for the scope of such justice. In divine matters, this would most likely be in the form of recorded revelation by prophets reputed to be genuine after testing other messages by them (since messages about eternal damnation are untestable in this world).

Can one be an atheist while pledging his allegiance to Satan? Isn't that believing in a god of one form or another? , and does NOT believing in something make it any the less real? I don't know if I have an answer to your very good question, but it is worth the ponder! Good day Sir.

Law we can have in abundance, justice on the other hand is measured in proportion to the crime.
Peace is a state of mind. Truth has nothing to do with Fact, it is simply the foundation on which Faith is built regardless of evidence to the contrary

Not in this lifetime (and therein lies the problem). I've found that the people most likely to achieve peace and justice are the ones who acted as if it were entirely up to them to make it happen. Those who wait for it are bound to be disappointed.

Satan is part of the whole concept of God. How can you believe in Satan and not God? If you believe in God, why not do his bidding and go to Heaven? Personally, I think it's ALL nonsense. Just tryin' to understand ya. Merry Chr....er..uh-h-h-,,, Happy Holidays.

Basically no. Scripture offers salvation in the form of a marriage contract. Take YHVHs name, and follow His rules, and thus become part of "the bride of Messiah".

Everyone is judged in the end, it's just the way it works. What you desire has nothing to do with anything, except for effecting what you do on earth.

No one that knows Jesus wants people to have justice...they want them to obtain the mercy, and grace that is from Jesus.
Justice is getting what we deserve. The wages of sin is death.
Mercy is NOT getting what we deserve, which is death.
God's grace is getting far more than we don't deserve!

Prayer is conversation with God. And if you pray and ask for something, God will only give it to you if he feels it is best for you!
