I believe the bible is the word of God and I believe it is absolute truth.
But I only read the King James Version bible along with the Septuagint bible because most of the other bibles have been corrupted.
But I do think that the bible is written for Gods children and until someone is saved it won't make much sense to them.
Before I was saved the bible seemed like a puzzle to me that I couldn't quite piece together or understand but then after I was baptized and received the Holy Spirit it suddenly changed and I completely understood everything it said.
Jesus said He is the bread of life and I do believe that the bible is a living thing that gives us life eternal and reading it is food for the soul.

I believe in the Bible because
1. I was brought up in the church so believing in God just comes natural.
2. I've searched out the truth dealing with Creationism and Evolution and one needs a whole lot more faith to believe in Evolution than creationism.
3. Prophecies that were told thousands of years ago are coming true.
4. Where did the appreciation of music come from?

All of us have our own religion. I am an athiast and do not believe in god. WAKE UP PEOPLES! DO YOU REALLY THINK SOME MYSTERIOUS PERSON NAMED GOD POPPED UP AND CREATED US???????? If so, how did this god come about? There is no heaven or hell, just live or die! Your not going anywhere when you are dead! Your body will rot in a casket and your soul will die with it. God didn't help us grow food or survive, there were just people smart enough to discover these things! We, Mankind, figured it out by ourselves! There is no God. So to the religious people, wake and be real for once. I have never read a word from the Bible, never even been in a church. I am not a holy person.
I wonder how many thumbs down I can get!!!!!

Yes I do believe the Bible is the absolute truth. Why? All the writings & Scripture in the Bible were written from when it happened so how could it not be true? Are you a person of faith?

One has to trust a lot of men ( Bible authors and editors), to accept the Bible as factual. I think that the Bible is culturally significant and I respect it as a sacred text. It has, and will continue to inspire humans one way or another.
No book with superstition at the core of it's belief could ever be considered absolute truth.

I believe in GOD with all my heart but I don't know for sure where the bible came from I only believe in GOD because of how I feel not because I go to church because I don't or read the bible because I don't but I do believe he is there because experiences throughout my life and I just know I guess!!!

I believe in the messages of the Bible, but I don't interpret it literally. I believe it is a series of stories that were divinely inspired to get certain points across to people.

no offend but the bible is not base on facts it base on the person who wrote it and that was not god himself. and the truth is that there no evidence about wat happen in the bible. But i think who believe in god r BS they always say they believe in him but they make sins alot. All people had commit sins. And going to pray to god is not going to wash it away. they alway said if u dont believe in him u go to hell did anyone show that happen??? no
if god created us then y god making all this BS happen in the world. Wat the point of creating something that U CANT CONTROL. To put this out to all of u IF THERE WAS GOD THEN Y NOTHING HAPPEN TO MY TEACHER (A MAN THAT DONT BELIEVE IN GOD AT ALL) SAID GOD CAN KISS MY *** ANY NOTHING HAD HAPPEN TO HIM????

just a question of faith....there is no evidence--none whatsoever
a personal choice of course, but please spare us the idea that it is anything more than pure faith
1. Many more individuals are born than can possibly survive, thus there is competition for limited resources
2. Within this vast number there is variation, and because of this variation some of these individuals will have an advantage--however slight--over others
3. The ones who have the advantages are more competitive and thus they are more likely to obtain the limited resources
4. The ones who are succeeding in securing the limited resources are more likely to reproduce and thus pass onto their offspring the more competitive traits
