I have been told from some Muslims they believe Jesus is the Christ, and some said the Messiah. Doesn't that contradict what you believe? Messiah means "anointed one." The Greek word for messiah is christos, which is Christ. So, to call Jesus the Christ is to call Him the Messiah. Furthermore, based on what is written about Jesus in the New Testament, if He were not the Messiah, then how can you view Him as a prophet? The Bible clearly says that Jesus is God. Wouldn't that be blasphemy to you?
John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:14 says "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and behold his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth."
How do you explain this?

Muslims don't believe in the Bible we have
some says it is not the original Bible
some says it is the original but humans made some changes to it
some don't believe there is something called Bible at all (because some believe that it is Jesus "essa" who wrote the original bible, which is lost now
but all of them agree that they don't believe in the current bible and that the word of God got altered

I am not muslim, but have lived around them for some time. They believe he's a prophet. That's because they misunderstand the term "Son of God".They think we believe god had an ACTUAL son. They also misunderstood the blessed Trinty, thinkin we have 3 gods, but we actually mean 1.The trinity is kindof his roles as Savior,Creator and Benfactor. They misunderstand because they are not allowed to read other religious texts because it is forbidden for them.I have nothin against Muslims, because no religion is wicked, its us humans who mess the reputation of our religions. It's human nature to think that "we" are right and "they" are wrong. We could all be one big religion with different opinions.I could go on but i would be typin for days. Also, sorry to burst your Muslim bubbles, but Isaiah is different from jesus,we have a part dedicated to him in the bible.HE IS SEPERATE FROM JESUS,LIVE WITH IT!
peace out,sign out

the following verses from the Holy Quran clearly mention
1)Prophet Isa as a Prophet,:
"O followers of the book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak (lies) against Allah, but (speak) the truth; the Messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an Apostle of Allah and His Word which he communicated to Marium and a spirit from Him; believe therefore in Allah and his apostles, and say not, Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only one God: far be it from Hism glory that He should have a son; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; and Allah is sufficient for a Protector." (4: 171)
2)Jesus is not God
"Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium; and the Messiah said: O children of Israel! serve Allah, My lord and your lord.Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust." (5:72)
3)Prophet Isa not Crucified: (4:157-159)
157) "And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure"
158) "Nay! Allah took him up to Himself; and Allah is Almighty Wise.
159) "And there is not one of the followers of the Book but most certainly believes in this before his death, and on the day of resurrection he (Isa) shall be a witness against them.
4)Prophet Isa is not the son of God:
"And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; May Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!" (9:30)

To believe in Jesus Christ and the Massiah is not blasphemy in Islam, you must believe in them to have full faith.
The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys." AlBaqara verse 285 .
We believe that Jesus was not the son of God but an apostle delivering the word of God, he performed miracles, he preached the word of God , and he will return to fight the anti-Christ.

Hey Muslims: read this also: I John 5:9-13
9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
