That is not going to happen until God makes the new Earth.
Heaven – the New Earth – is a physical place on which we will dwell with glorified physical bodies (see 1 Corinthians 15:35-58). The concept that Heaven is “in the clouds” is unbiblical. The concept that we will be “spirits floating around in Heaven” is unbiblical. The Heaven that believers will experience will be a new and perfect planet on which we will dwell. The New Earth will be free from sin, evil, sickness, suffering, and death. It will likely be very similar to our current Earth, or perhaps even a re-creation of our current earth – but without the curse of sin.

Of course we will die. What's the big deal? Planet Earth has been orbiting the Sun in this puny Solar System for billions of years. We have been on this planet a minimal fraction of that time. Believe me, no one in the Universe will miss the conceited, hard- headed, garbage-generating human beings. And hopefully that will be the end. Why would we want to recreate this mess somewhere else?

If we haven't found a new home by then, we will die.
There is no reincarnation of the soul, but there is reincarnation of the matter that makes up our bodies. That will continue to occur. And when the sun finally gives in and implodes all of the matter that makes up each and everyone of us right now, will be blown back into space.
Pretty cool, eventually the matter that is you and the matter that is me, will be flying into space on a new distination.

What spirit? Show me the evidence that it exists.
What will happen to us? We will all die.
That is why it is really important that we do what we need to do to avoid it now.
Ther is little point in having economic prosperity for us now if our grandkids will have no planet to enjoy it on.

According to mankind... space will be the new frontier.
According to God, those who reject Him will perish, but those who accept Him and live accordingly will be spared.
