That is based on the arbitrary way chemist laid out the periodic table. How did Chemists know to make the 7 rows to fit with genesis? It is kind of like saying there is Bible Codes in an English Bible. The periodic table is laid out by humans, and could just have easily been laid out differently.

Thats all real neat. But the fact remains that the Bible implies a 24 hour solar day:.."the morn and eve were "the" first day, and "..so in six days God created the heaven and the earth and on the seventh day (one week) he rested". So-Carpenter's account does not line up with the Bible.
If one will believe in the creation story, why believe Carpenter over God? It really doesn't make sense to, does it?

Interesting, but its a bit of a stretch.

The explanation of the seventh day rest only meaning, not working quite as hard is a tough one to swallow.

The biggest problem with these theories, is that they rely on the bible being metaphor. Which is fine, but only if applied to the whole bible.

If Genesis is a metaphor for the creation of elements, then why not the story of Jesus a metaphor? There is no metaphor/non metaphor key available.

It takes less time to understand the Bible than to try and sort through all of this Randy Carpenter mess...

LOL
More creation nonsense attempting to pass itself off as anything scientific. Do you honest feel that gives any kind of validity to the story of creation? It doesn't, just more to laugh at the creationists for.
