I want to donate a toy to a child that has illness and was wondering who to donate to, I looked at the St. Jude website and it appears that they only take monetary donations for the research hospital. Just recently lost someone to cancer and want to make a difference to a child in need.

i am sorry but i think you will find that every where - the American cancer society- lance Armstrong society both cancer groups take monetary-donations only- do you have a Ronald McDonald House in your area? There may be a family there where a child is staying and they have a family member in the hospital with cancer you can try that- they may like the toy

It is a great thing that you are trying to do Good Luck and sorry for the loss

Check for a childrens hospital near your home town.
Any doctor or nurse or social-worker could tell you.
They have to be brand new safe toys for cancer patients.
