I believe that about myself, however, I also know I am not perfect and do make mistakes along with errors in judgment, just like everyone else.

Yes. I have very good manners. I know this for a fact because I ended up marrying a classy woman. She never would have settled for anything less than a gentleman. And, she knew that I was of like mind, because I would never have pursued her otherwise.
If you want to know what kind of person you are, then look at the people who pursue you for friendship or romance.

It would depend on the situation. People in general change with moods. For the most part I would say that everyone has good manners. But that is impossible to keep up all the time.

I don't think all guys are gentlemen. I know I am though.
I was taught by my family right from wrong and how to treat girls the right way. I'm polite, and well mannered (I always pick up the tab, open doors, offer my jacket when it's cold, etc). I always treat my girl with the utmost respect. ^_^

I do have good manners when I am with a lady - at home most men are pigs. When I am with a lady however I open doors, pull out chairs, PAY THE BILL, and treat ladies the way they deserve to be treated, like queens!

Depends on what you mean by that.. Am I gonna take off my coat and put it in the mud so you can walk on it? Um no. You can walk around it like I did. Sure I'll hold the door open for you, if I'm the first one in. If you're the first one in, I'd like you to open it for me.
Come on. Women wanted equal rights and they got em (mostly). Now it's time for men to say the same. Give and take. I like doing things freely as I see fit, not because society tells me I have to. I will not run around the car to open the door for you to get out. I am not a biatch. Nor would I expect that from anyone else.

I try to exhibit good manners, but I know at times I either fail to do so from a lack of knowledge or understanding. Sometimes, in certain social settings, it's not a big deal either.
For the most part, I try...

I know I am a gentleman and yes I do have good manners, although it is sometimes difficult to use them with girls/women who think any expression of courtesy is a statement saying they are lesser beings.

Yes and yes.
My parents taught me very well. Always say please and thank you, hold the door for women, if you are walking on the sidewalk, the man walks on the side closer to traffic, give a women your coat, no more seats left and a woman or elderly people walk in - give up your seat no hitting women no matter what, say sir and ma'am.... SO many more to put down. But I hope you get the idea.
