Yes, but not a straight flush.

For those that don't know, a full house (3 cards of one rank and 2 of another), also known as a boat or a full boat, ranks above a flush (5 cards of the same suit) and below 4 of a kind.

Above 4 of a kind is the straight flush, which is 5 cards in sequence, in the same suit. The best of these, a royal flush, has an ace as the high card.

yes a fullhouse does beat a flush with the exception of a straight flush

No. Flush is better hand. Straight flush the best hand if it goes to the ace especially.
