Glad that you don't. A great number of TV preachers teach prosperity, and are on TV precisely to get as much of people's money as possible. Their greed results in reflecting an image of Christ inconsistent with the Scriptures.
Thankfully, there are exceptions: Charles Stanley is great! (sound teaching).

I think they're funny. Especially Gary Busey.
If you don't know who Gary Busey is, since you're from the UK, before he began spreading the holy word through television broadcasts, his acting highlights have included "Succubus: Hell Bent" (2007), "Souled Out" (2005), and "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City," to name just a few of his more spiritual works.
Other "televangelists" (as we refer to them) here in the U.S. offer similar hilarity.

Some of them are a blessing to the those who are bedridden and can't get to church. They are the only church some people ever have,,,so they do good along with the bad,,,,,,just like in the real world...I've seen and visited some churches who think they exist just to have a fun social life too,,,,so don't knock them all...that's not fair.
