Well, at least you know what *not* to do for next time. The only way you could have made that situation worse was to hand her a broom and dustpan and said "housework burns calories."

This may sound lame, but after banging my head against the wall trying to figure out my boyfriend, I borrowed my friends 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus' and some of it made a lot of sense as to how we think differently. If you understand the other person, communication is better and there will be less highly emotional arguments.

Jack, are you serious? Anytime the 'f' word comes up it spells nuclear war for most women especially if she is self-conscious to begin with. Even you, I have a hard time believing you really did this and if you did you need a lesson in communication. Maybe you could help her out by joining a gym with her or attending a yoga class together. There a subtler ways to handle it. I don't think you'd take to kindly to me saying 'you're fat and I don't find that too attractive'. I think you're more sensitive than this. Blessings

This was rude and insulting and apparently you wanted her to get upset and possibly boot ya. Maybe she doesn't find an aging pretty boy all that attractive either but she is willing to overlook it because she cares about you although I can not understand why! Don't you know that when pretty boys age they look like old fags?

Go figure! Next time between bites of twinkie, distract her and take the twinkie out of her hand and replace it with...let's say....celery, keep her talking and I bet she'll never even notice!
HA!

LOL - and you're still conscious?
Edit: n_icoles (CA), the last time I heard from Brandon was on 12/11 and he said his last class was on December 13th. Is it possible he doesn't have as easy access to a computer as he did while classes were still in session?

It's none of your business what she eats or what she weighs.
All women are not put on earth to look good for men. There are plenty of women who like the attention, but there are also women that do NOT like the attention their body brings.
And you really meant to say, "Why are SOME women so unreasonable?" Right?
Peace.

You were rude. I know what you're saying, yes, we do make huge dramas out of nowhere, especially when our weight is involved, but nevertheless, you were rude. Taking food out of someone's hand is not correct, neither is calling her a cow-to-be.
