the actual keepers of it do?
Everyday I see posts from people who speak like they have access to the info they blather on about. For example, the WMD issue was hot awhile back and the 'net exploded with insights from conspiracy nuts who attempted to convince folks that they were experts on the matter. Put it this way, the Government is veterans at espionage and intellegence gathering, they employ respected and learned PhD's, Advisors to the President have more years of experience at thier jobs than most "expert posters" have years of drawing breath. Yet we're constantly bombarded with "facts" from people who consider themselves authorities because they spend thier lunch hours reviewing the latest drivel on blogspot.com! Seriously, do you think your source has more info than those who gather it for a living, or is it more realistic that they are sitting in thier mom's basement talking out of thier a$$es too?

Of course I can neither confirm nor deny your assertion.

Agreed. And judging from the majority of content I see posted, most are not even reading sources, but rather are simply parroting what they have heard from the pundits. The problem is I listen to the news too so I recognize when a post is actually a verbatim transcript from a biased news agency. And let's face facts; both left and right posters are guilty of this. What we should learn is that the truth is almost always somewhere in the middle.

That said, it is not always easy to screen intentionally misleading "facts" from actual ones. Our government and it's slate of "experts" also has an agenda. So while they may have access to raw data, they do not always divulge the true nature of it publicly. I am an Air Force veteran who once had a NATO security clearance while serving overseas. And I can tell you from personal experience that the official story as released to the mass media does not always jibe with the actual facts. This is necessary to either calm the general public, protect field operatives, or to intentionally misinform the opposion. Those with access to the real facts either do not reveal them at all or not until long after the incident is no longer relevant.

I find that the title of The 1976 Joe Walsh album fits when discussing:

Criminals
Pedophiles
Left Wing Loons
Right Wing Loons
That most coveted Loon "The Conspiracy Theorist"

"You can't argue with a sick mind".

I once had a guy tell me that "my problem" was that I would not talk about things I did not know anything about. He is a Teamster organizer and a Kool Aid drinking Democrat. He has counterparts on the right, I just have not met them yet.

When liars lie, they, well, lie.

Bush wanted the case for Iraq's WMDs made, despite the facts.

The UN inspectors were finding nothing because nothing was there.

It's not that I consider myself an expert, but when I hear what liars say, and read that people who know what they're talking about who aren't liars have to say, then I have basis for what I say.

Iraq in fact did not have WMD programs.

Thus, I've been vindicated for believing the truth-tellers over the liars.

I don't know what TS info is.

Why is simple. Because many of them actually believe or need to believe that they do have all the answers.
Its an inherent trait to some people to want the worst possibility to be true.
So in their minds it becomes fact and if you or I can't see the obvious then we must be some kind of dummy.
The really worst thing is all the answers you're going to get to this, if they find the guts to speak up.

Not a psychiatrist or anything even close, so i could be wrong.

Just because you've never had a TS + clearance doesn't mean nobody else has. And just because you're uneducated doesn't mean everyone else is. Try getting out of your mom's basement and getting some experience so you don't keep making such a fool out of yourself.

What's even more fun is to be someone who, at one time, had access to some of that information and get to watch the parade of idiots posting here whose "facts" are 100% wrongo.

But far be it from me to call them tin-foil hat wearing imbeciles.

Oops, did I just say that?

They're liberals, even if they had clearances and access to the information, they would say it was all lies...
