I am a really light sleeper and a bit of an insomniac. We will have different beds (thank god), but his insane snoring drives me crazy. I've had nights in the past where Ive slept for less than 2 hours because of his snoring. I know it's not his fault, but I some how need to put a stop to this and get some sleep. I can't ask my parents to shove my brother in their room, or get me my own room, now thats just asking too much! Anybody have any ideas?

Let's get some perspective....
1. You get to be with your family for Christmas!
2. You get to go on a trip to Mexico!
3. You get to have a separate room from your parents.
4. Many kids will be without a Mom or a Dad or a brother for their Christmas.
5. Many people will not be able to put food on the table for their family, let alone give them a gift or a trip.
6. Many of the homeless would give their right arm to sleep in a luxury hotel with a snoring pig, brother or camel.
7. There are earplugs or your i-pod earphones to help block out the inconvenient noise.

I hope you have a great time with your family. God Bless!

Ear plugs for you and no-snoring nose strips for your brother.

Don't focus on what you aren't getting, but be grateful you get to go to Mexico. Take pictures. Take a siesta every afternoon while our brother is out goofing off.
Enjoy~

Go to the drug store / pharmacist (in the US: Walgreens, Eckards, Wat Mart pharmacy) and buy some foam ear plugs. They are cheap and they work great.
