Clearly, a man was needed to clean up a woman's mess.

Oh, Adam was just as much to blame. Where the heck was he when Eve was talking to the serpent, hhmmm? Why wasn't he all up in her face telling her that it would be a mistake and snakey was lying to her? Eve may have been the one to take the first bite, but Adam had a bite as well, and he did it willingly rather than in a state of deceit like Eve did. That is why the curse is upon men as well as women, why male and female both suffer and die.

I think that people like to think that "it's all the woman's fault according to the Bible" because then they have another reason to sneer at Christianity, God, and the Bible (not that the asker is, not at all! but plenty of other people do this....). It isn't true though.

This nice little story goes way beyond written history, before myths, somewhere around fairy tales.

Men & women are being sacrificed every day on religious beliefs and non-religious beliefs, as well. Have you noted that the men take the credit and none of the blame? Well, I suppose we must take part of the blame, we bear these children, we teach them right from wrong allegedly and then we really don't like a lot of the outcome?

No: Women alone are not to blame. It seems God was not satisfied with Adam alone and Adam only gave up one breastbone to make Eve. How do I know that? "The bible told me so".

Eve was deceived into sinning but Adam knew exactly what he was doing and willfully transgressed against His Creator, bringing the curse of sin upon everyone born. God sent His Son because Jesus existed before He was born to mary in the manger. Jesus willingly came down from heaven, to be born the perfect God and the perfect man in order to willingly lay down His life as a sacrifice to redeem the whole world back to the Father. Now we can be forgiven of the curse and be cleansed of this sin and be made true sons and daughters of the Almighty and live life just the way Jesus Himself did, with power and authority. Jesus died so that you and I could be glorified as kings to rule and reign with Christ for 1000 years on this earth but to those who refuse Christ also refuseds their rights as kings unto this coming kingdom. And this applies to every single living soul on this earth. No Christ-no kingdom...It's just that simple.

The fault for ingesting the fruit became into Eve's. the two she and Adam have been born with loose will, and that they chosen to apply it the incorrect way. sure, the serpent deceived her, and the serpent, or devil, is accountable of rebelling against the Almighty God, Jehovah. by using ingesting of the fruit, Eve intentionally sinned against Jehovah as he had warned them that interior the day they disobeyed they'd lose the wonderful present given to them by using their writer--that of eternal existence in the international. while Eve gave of the fruit to Adam, fairly of last unswerving to his father in heaven, he used his loose will poorly to stay together with her and devil. for that reason, they became enemies of Jehovah God and sided with devil the devil. It makes suitable experience. in case you have a son and tell him do not take drugs when you consider which you will finally end up in subject, yet your son listens to and buys drugs from a broking, and if he's caught by using the police, and is going to penitentiary--can he blame the broking? The broking's out to make $. it is your son's fault for being disobedient. devil, like the broking, had his very own egocentric pastimes in strategies. Paisley

Sin was never Eve's fault, Adam was a dumbass, and like most men was afraid of the power of women. Adam had a "wife" before Eve who's name was Lillith. He got pissed at her because she wanted to be on top once and a while when they made love. I expect that she may have questioned his authority now and again as well. Anyway, he went to god and told on her and complained so god told him he would get him a more docile one. To this day, men seek docile women or try to make them so.

It was Eve's curse that her desire should be to her husband, and he should rule over her.
Have you not seen her clinging to a drunken or brutal husband?
But God did not say the curse was good, nor bid Adam enforce it. Nor did he say, all men shall rule over thee. For Adam, not Eve, the earth was to bring forth the thorn and the thistle, and he was to eat his bread by the sweat of his brow. Yet I never heard a sermon on the sin of uprooting weeds, or letting Eve, as she does, help him to bear his burden. It is when she tries to lighten her load that the world is afraid of sacrilege and the overthrow of nature.

Actually, that would fit along the lines of "sending a woman to do a man's job" which, after woman has already messed up, would be seen as stupid.
Can't say I like Christian dogma either, but the question actually helps make their point...

No, not eve only..Adam was there too! He could have said "no" but, he didn't..and, he was more responsible than she was..He was the one that Knew better and did nothing...therefore, God had a "first" created son" Adam, and had to send the "secound Adam, who was Jesus.."Peace!"
