My weight on the scale has gone down by quite a lot, but i look fatter and fatter in the mirror each day. My friends tell me to eat, but if i eat then im just putting even more weight on me. I feel so rubbish all the time, and its making me really depressed. I can't eat, if i do i will just get fat. Pleae help me, i don't know what to do anymore?

You've got a serious eating disorder - and that is a psychological problem, not a physical one.

200 calories a day isn't dieting, it's starving yourself. You're supposed to have 2000 a day, if you're an adult - 1500 for a child.

You say your weight has gone down a lot - so the fact that you think you look fatter should be a clear indication that all this is in your head. Your friends are right; listen to them, they must be really concerned for you. I have an anorexic friend and it's scary - and SO frustrating trying to make her seen sense. Nothing anyone can say can change her view - even when someone said she was looking 'better', meaning she wasn't so hideously skinny, she translated this as them thinking she looked fat!!

You do need weight on you or you're going to become very unhealthy. Being underweight is as bad as being overweight - it all puts strain on your heart. You're also risking infertility if you get too skinny. And apart from anything else - ask around men, they don't find bags of bones attractive!

I urge you to seek help to get the body image you have in your head sorted out. It's so clear from what you've said that when you look in the mirror you don't see what's really there. You could get down to 70lb and you'd probably still see fat. This isn't something you can sort out on your own, it's a medical problem that you need help with - go to a doctor, get them to weigh and advise you, and recommend a counsellor. Don't be embarrassed, this is an increasingly common problem this day and age, loads of girls feel like it. Get help, don't waste your life like this!!

Well, to me you sound very sick. You sound anorexic to me. My sister is anorexic and thinks very much the same as you seem to be doing.
200 calories a day is no where near enough to survive on, not even for a rabbit. Eating disorders kill many thousands of people per year, but you sweetie don't have to be one of them. I bet your beautiful, thin and pretty. You just can't see it. Anorexics usually have a distorted body image, you say that your body weigh has gone down on the scale, but you still look fat. Well, is the weight on the scale has gone down, then your weight will have gone down on real life.
You need help, you are sick, could you talk to your mum or a close friend about this? Because you need help. You can recover and life a happy life, but only with help. Do not hesitate.
Please e-mail if you like. Good luck. xx

look you're not going to want to hear this but you have a serious problem and you are on the verge of devolping an eating disorder if you haven't already.....a 200 calorie diet isn't safe at all and if still think that you're fat and you're loseing weight then i think that you should see a councelor, because loseing weight should make you happier and feel thinner but if it's not then there is osmthing wrong you really do need to eat more....how much do you weigh?and how tall are you?and your age? this is a website that shows you a weight chart where you weight should be..........

If you were eating only 200 calories a day your body would shut down. You need at least 1,200 calories a day to function. It also sounds like you have body image issues, can you talk to a therapist or a counselor? Eat healthy, exercise (including cardio and strength training, which will tone up your muscles) and get help.

Your body need a minimum of 1200 calories a day to function properly. Less and your body will go into a "famine" mode and shut down all use of your stored fat cells. Your perception of yourself is the problem. You are not seeing an accurate reflection in the mirror.

GET SOME HELP. You will kill yourself at the rate you are going.

I have told you before....the way you are losing weight is not a healthy way. You need to seek professionals in a hurry, does the word Anorexia mean anything to you. Eating the little bit of calories that you are consuming there is no way you could be fat. Please speak to a doctor soon....I would hate to hear of something happening to you because you would not eat.
