I looked up how to say Sleepy (the character from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves), and I found the word "Schlafmütz". Is this correct?

If not, what exactly does "Schlafmütz" mean?

Schlafmuetze
or
Schlafmütze

That is the word used in the German edition of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

It means "sleepy head" but literally means "nightcap" as in the garment, not the drink.

The dwarf "Sleepy" is noted as "Schlafmütze" in German. A Schlafmütze is what you will call a sleepyhead in English. by the way, the dwarf Grumpy is noted as Brummbär, Dopey is noted as Seppl.... i've got forgotten the others' names.

"Schlafig" literally means "sleepy, but "schlafmutz" is likely just a slang term for a person who sleeps a lot.
