How do you make your own Margarita Mix?

I'm looking for a recipe to make Margarita Mix.

True Margarita's are Tequila, Gran Marnier with a splash of lime (shaken & served over ice, this is the original recipie, though Triple Sec is often substituted for the Gran Marnier).
If you looking for a frozen margarita type mix, use frozen lime aid with a shot of orange flavor.

The key to a good margarita is not the mix, it's the tequila.

Just mix simple syrup and lime juice.

I don't know the ratio, but it does sound like an opportunity for much experimenting. Make a bucket of Margarita's and write down the ratio. Drink them. If the consitancy is not what you are looking for, make another bucket with another consitancy. Keep going till you have just the right mix. ;D

This is probably not the recipe you are hoping for, but I really like to drink plain old LEMONADE with tequila.

When I make margaritas at home, I use El Jimador Tequila, triple sec, and "simply limeade".

if you don't want to use the orange liqueurs just use orange juice and lime and a little salt.
