If you have approved Permanent Residency status and waiting for the actual card to arrive. the waiting time would be from 2 to 4 weeks. If after 3 or 4 weeks passed and still you haven't gotten the card, you should contact USCIS Field Office of your area.

It really is a crap shoot. It took my wife about 9 months. Generally if you are legal and looking for residence status it takes less time then if your are illegal and looking for residence status. All i know is, going throught he process with my wife was a beaurecratic nigthmare. I would look at getting an immigrations lawyer they definitely helped out with all the paper work and what not.
