You have witnessed a horrible car accident, and are the only person at the scene. There are 2 people in the vehicle. The engine has caught fire and you only have time to save one. Both are pregnant females of roughly the same age. One is wearing a cross, the other is wearing a pentagram.

Who's life do you save?

I'm atheist, but I would save whichever one said "save me" first (assuming both were equally easy or difficult to remove from the vehicle).

If they were both incapacitated, I would save the hotter one (yes, there is ALWAYS a hotter one).

I find it funny that the Christians above me would save the one with the pentagram so they could witness to them or "save" their souls. All that says to me is if you want to be saved in a life-or-death situation, don't wear a cross. :P

Since religion obviously matters, how do you know the true heart of either one? Unless you know why they are wearing the cross/pentagram then you have no basis to judge them. Save the first one you can. I am amazed at the judgments on here based on a symbol that may or may not have any bearing whatsoever on their religion.

First, I'd like to ask, why would you ask such a horrible question? Wearing a necklace doesn't make someone a Christian...

If I was in that situation, I wouldn't be paying attention to the necklaces or w/e. I'd try and save whoever I could...

Letting someone die because they aren't Christian isn't Christ-like at all. People get the wrong impression of us because there are so many running around trying to be perfect when they really aren't being Christ-like at all... There are so many people running around calling themselves Christians who really don't even give a care about God's word...

Whoever I'm closest to, but if I had time to really think about it, probably the one wearing the pentagram because she is probably not saved. Of course, wearing a cross doesn't definitively mean you are saved. I wore one before I was saved. You can't tell a person's heart by what they wear.

And it's "whose" not who's.

I would try and save both but if for any reason I could not,I would save the first one I can.(closest to me)
Religion has nothing to do with it,each human being has the same value.

Nice hypothetical question, the obvious response would be the one with the pentagram, as she has no hope. If the lass wearing the cross is christian then I am doing her and her unborn child a favor.

I would call 911, and save whichever woman I get to first! Praying to my GOD, that I could save them both before the car blows up!

The pentagram. The cross is probably already saved.

I'd try to save the one who is most easy to extricate from the burning vehicle first.

EDIT: Is that what you would do? Judge each victim's worthiness based on who they are or what they believe?

Suppose I have a fire extinguisher handy! I would put the fire out and save them both! then I would give God all the glory and praise his holy name..
