An only child myself, I now realize what all of this means. When parents have one child they put all of their hopes and dreams in that one. They view that child as most precious and most assuredly think she is the most beautiful on the planet. Only children know that they are loved, have no real problems with jealousy and are willing to share. Self esteem issues are almost non existent within this group. And contrary to what people think, only children have a lot to live up to.

Actually, it has been statistically and scientifically proven that ugly people tend to have beautiful children and beautiful people tend to have ugly children. There was an evolutionary reason for it, but I forgot what that was

when they gave it up for adoption they thought they would have more beautiful kids. instead they got you ugly as sin making them regret giving the good looking kid away
