CALORIES IN AND CALORIES OUT.
Combine, reducing bad calories and increase you movement. Just turn on a record and stand up and do a little private dance. Move your legs, arms, and twist your body. Start off slow and build up energy level and length of time. You can dance a long time without getting tired. It's fun and does use calories. That's why so many weight loss programs are set to music> Check at some of the local used books/record stores and you might can find a cheep exercise music CD or tape.

Next eat more healthy. The items that have empty calories are the ones to avoid. Snack on fruits and veggies.

· It is important to maintain a good diet so you don't compromise your health. Damage done because of lack of nutrition is not worth a nice body. Some diet damage cannot be fixed.
·
· When you deprive your brain, the brain will take other body cells to convert to the elements that it needs. And the cells it takes are BRAIN cells. OOPS. I don't want to lose brain cells to have thin legs. But I would like to have both.

Also, a quick weight loss is usually a water loss and that loss will come back ASAP. You cannot loose FAT more than 2 to 3 pounds a week. Any more than that and you are loosing water and muscle mass (not good)

AND DON'T GO ON A DIET.... DECIDE TO MAKE A LIFE CHANGE TO A HEALTHY LIFE STYLE.

1) fruits and veggies, all you want, organic, raw, vine-ripe if possible. Steamed is OK, sautéed is OK even canned or frozen is OK, but lots of them.
2) limited or no meat.
3) nothing fried
4) no FAST FOOD- is junk, no nutrition, empty calories
5) NO PROCESSED FOOD. if you can't pronounce it don't eat it.
6) nothing white, salt, sugar, mayo, milk, (or at least in moderation.
7) NO DAIRY-dairy is great for baby cows, your body does not even digest it properly. check out www.notmilk.com
8) EXERCISE- and be sure to refresh your body with water and fresh fruit
9) NO PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS. Muscle is made from water, replace the water. You get enough protein from the food you eat, You get more protein from spinach than the supplements you take and your body does not get toxic on food protein the way it will with supplements. Supplements can really tax you liver.
10) Good supplement would be Omega 3, and and Juice Plus+
http://www.juiceplus.com/nsa/pages/Home....
11) NO CARBONATED DRINKS, or at least limited. They actually dissolve the calcium in your bones.
12) Calories in calories out.

AND DON'T GO NUTS, MODERATION.

I'm 5'1" and I weight 97lbs...I recently just reached my goal weight through dieting and exercise. You don't need to go to the rec or gym to lose weight. Here is what I did and what may help you:

1. No soda, no sugary juice, no any drinks that has calories--your body won't register them as calories and you'll eat more. Stick with plain tea (no sugar), coffee, and water.

2. When feeling needing to "snack", snack on fruits and veggies such as oranges, apples, carrot sticks, grape tomatoes etc with OUT any type of dressing

3. Cut most of your carbs out and eat a diet rich in fruits and veggies (don't use condiments such as mayonise or ketchup or use in small quantities).

4. Exercise 60 minutes a day--including muscle training. You can buy 5 lbs weights at walmart for around 6 dollars each ....buy a work out video that has both muscle training and cardio. You want to do around 40 min cardio and 20 minutes muscle training--and the best part is that you can do this in your own home.

Hope that helps!

The only safe way that works in the long run, is eating a better diet (less soda, sugar, fatty foods, etc.) and exercising daily (walking doesn't count). Running is best, but you can also bike, rollerblade, work out at the YMCA. If you start running you'll find that you'll warm up quickly. There is no EASY way to lose weight. If there was, everyone would do it. Good Luck.

The best thing that you can do is to watch your diet. Instead of buying school lunches... pack a lunch. Make a sandwich, pack some low fat/fat free chips and bring a peice of fruit. Then bring a snack bar to snack on later maybe when you're walking to your next class.

A great way to keep track of the calories and fat grams that you take in is to start a food journal. If you go to my-calorie-counter.com you can digitaly keep track of what you eat every day.

I have the same problem all I can say is buy fruit and if you eat more than you want to just make sure its healthy because having junk food in the house is really tempting at times just hang with your friends and let the fruit or anything healthy do the job, also if you drink to much milk that can be really bad for you. Doing something productive constantly could help.=)

Sorry if it didnt help=(

It's important not to starve yourself because running low on fuel makes your metabolism slow down, making it harder to lose weight, and if you get hungry you may eat more than you mean to. It's often better to eat several small meals rather than one or two large meals. Make sure you're eating healthily and not eating because you're bored!

I exercise in my apartment using exercise DVDs. I have a couple of Veena and Neena's bellydance DVDs and several of the Crunch series (Cardio Salsa is my favorite). I just got a Biggest Loser workout DVD for my birthday, it has people who were on Biggest Loser leading the exercises and one of the trainers from the show. The exercises are really simple compared to the dance DVDs I have but it's one of the more fun DVDs.

At your age your metabolism will burn off the calories for you. Just avoid all snacking between meals, unless you are eating high fiber, low sugar food items, like apples. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING WITH HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. To spead the weight loss try skipping rope. You can do it inside in the cold weather and it burns alot of calories.

Since you can't drive yet walk or use a bike. for transportation, Use the stairs instead of the elevator, get a jump rope and use it. If you need to snack on something get a bag of baby carrots and some veggies to snack on. Good Luck

do you have a tv in your room......?i know this might sound strange but it's what i have to do because i'm trying to lose weight too and i just had a baby so it's too cold to take her outside so instead of jogging outside i do it infront of my tv.yes i know it sounds weird but i mean just think about it i know you have to watch tv at some time of the day an instead of sitting down and watching it jog in place infront of your tv while yor favorite program it's been working for me and then even with the jogging inside you can do other things like sit-ups push-ups lunges squats(you don't need weight to do them) and just everyday normal exercises.if you need anymore advice then you can e-mail me at iluvadampainter007@yahoo.com i wouldl be happy to help you with anything.
