Todays pigs are leaner and cleaner than they were a century ago, now they are fed food that kills worms, are placed in cleaner enviroments, and are fed food that is cleaner and better for the pig, which means, the pig does not necesarrily get as fat as people think. And since pigs have been crossbred for leaner meat and has also had a more dense protein than other animals. Pork is leaner than beef, so if it is cooked properly, it will be lowfat

Hello,
Sure if it is cooked properly. Some customs do not eat pork just for the health risk of not cooking it properly.
When the cat and dog food scare came out at that time I would not touch pork (it was reported that pigs ate the same base of the dog/cat food which in turn was killing pets), however that scare is over.

We do not eat much of it, I can get this family to eat bacon. This is only if I can keep it from my youngest. He thinks everything is microwavable.....Sausage is something else I can get these guys to eat. Others wise I can not get them to eat it. This is not because of nothing more then not liking the taste of it I guess?

Cook it well. Most pork will turn white when done. Like pork chops, steaks etc.

Pork is very safe to eat but like all meats should be cook to a proper temperature to make sure any bacterial are killed. and that is true of beef and chicken.

Years ago pigs ran wild and ate a pretty disgusting diet and had a lovely little worm in the meat that can cause some devastating diseases in humans. Our sources of pork in the US are regulated and safe, but we still have that worm coming into the US inside some of our Domenic helper who bring it with them from 3rd world countries and prepare our food (with dirty hands and unsafe sanitation)

If you hire domestic help be sure they are worm free! There have been cases of the diseases that actually moved from family to family as the Domenic help changed jobs.

I won't touch it its f******* nasty. Like have you seen what they feed pigs? Usually slop and scraps from resteraunts from around the city, garbage and all sorts of stuff its so nasty. Plus they are working on using their organs and stuff to use as transplants and they are supposed to be the closets to us as animals.

I do like Bacon though but I won't touch Pork Chops or Pork Roast or anything like that bla so natsy. Pigs are dirty animals.

Most port in America is healthy to eat. I can't speak for third world countries where what they eat may give them worms. It is not as lean as chicken, but it is not bad. And it can be delicious.

in my opinion, pork is toxic. pigs do not sweat. all thier toxins tend to build up in their flesh. i believe God designed our body, and when He calls for us not to eat pig we need to listen. i usually dont mention my beliefs, but you asked.
