can acid reflux be mistaken for appendecitis?? i mean, if they told me i had acid reflux could it be appendecitis???

well when i press around my appendix it hurts. my boyfriend had appendecitis about 5 days ago and my stomach has been like that for a while... and it hurts they way he said so im just making sure...

If you draw a line from your navel to your right hip-bone (technically known as your anterior superior illiac-spine), appendicitis will cause a terrible pain about 2/3 of the way down that line.

That is extremely unlikely. Blood work is performed and the white count is NOT elevated in acid reflux. Also the pain is in a different area and there are different symptoms not at all like acid reflux.

no, if you had appendicitis you would be hurting around your bladder and intestinal area
