bring some water to a boil add a little vinegar. When boiling add eggs and when it comes back to a boil let them cook 12-15 minutes. They should be perfect. Have a ice bath (bowl of water and ice) put them in there. This stops carryover cooking and they will peel easier. However many eggs I need I always cook an eggstra (haha) one for a "test" pull one out at the 12 minute mark open it, if it is done pull them and shock quickly. They will be EGGactly perfect and taste EGGcellent!

You boil the egg for fifteen minutes. The yellow should be done on the inside. If it looks a little juicy boil for another five minutes.

Time wise is 11 to 17 mins, then dunk in cold water to cool or it'll keep cooking inside.
Spin the egg on its side, if it does it easily it's hard boiled, but if it stops and goes kind of wobbly, it's raw.

no joke here. just pure physics. try this first, take an unboiled egg and spin it on the countertop, while it is spinning, stop the spin. you will notice that it will start to spin a little bit again. that is because the inside is still moving. now with a hard boiled egg if you try this, you will find that the egg will NOT continue to spin because it is now a solid
