How conveniently put, but as I recall correctly the Bush regime was the one that started the war against a Muslim country. This does not make all of Islam evil. Psychologically, one will fight when pushed into a corner to save ones' life. Same concept. Suppose you read more instead of skimming the surface. Christians also have problems with the fanatics who give them a skewered impression as well, eg: Mormons, Jehovah's Witness. There are Buddhist monks who eat meat openly and drive Mercedes. The world's a shitty place, people have different views as how to live their lives and follow their religion. Islam is the second largest religion after Christianity in many European countries There are millions of Muslims who reside in the West. Don't be ridiculous. There is no 'Islam' but there are some Islamists who are looking for a fight. Most Muslims just want to get on with their lives and families like the rest of us. If there was an 'Islam' how would you identify it to go to war with it? Would that mean nuking every Islamic country? What then about the Muslims who live in the USA, Europe, China, Australia, India? Wold we have to round them up and exterminate them in death camps like Hitler tried to do with the Jews? Or would we simply subject them to 'enhanced interrogation' to break down their resistance and turn them into obediant Christians? Then what? What about all the Christian fundamentalists who look forward to WW3 as the prelude to the rapture? Get real will you? Well, that sounds nice and simple. Where was this presumed Islamic sentiment BEFORE the West began trying to control the politics and economics of the Middle East? Could it be that they really just want to be left alone?

As for this war you seem to want, it had better happen quick. What do tanks, missiles and jet fighters run on? Petroleum products, eh? What is a major component of many explosives? Or does this bring up the real issue? (This darn A-rabs are sitting on our oil!) We could let resource-rich countries determine their own affairs, but that isn't really the Western way.

So Islam wants WW3 huh? I could have sworn it was terrorist groups like Al Qiada and the Taliban that wanted it. I guess maybe the Christians should give it to then. Please, if you expect a serious answer then ask an educated question. I'm a US soldier and I have no intentions of killing innocent people because a few idiots got a screw loose. Most of the people over there are hard work people trying to support their families. If you read up on the Islam religion you would find it's one of the most peaceful ones.

Good question, but it looks like we're waiting for Iran to complete their nuclear program & fire the first missile before we'll do anything about it.
I'd rather be proactive and fight this battle on their turf.
Actually, Israel is probably a better candidate to confront them now. With the threats Iran has made against Israel they should be more motivated.
