immigration doesn't...those who are discussing ILLEGAL immigration do. That is because more than 56% of those entering this country illegally are from Mexico. When you add in ALL Latin American countries, the percentage edges over 3/4 of the illegals. That is why the concentration lies there. They are the majority of the problem.

The problem as a whole is huge, but the Mexicans seem to come here at a faster rate then other nationalities. I think that if we first concentrate on the Mexicans, we can get the problem under control faster than if we try to tackle the whole issue at once.

For reasons others spoke of but........

Koreans, Japanese, Muslims and such have the attitude that the key to their childrens success is integration and language. The parents work hard to figure out how to get to the US. With that comes a certain attitude.

Products in Spanish, ATMs, TV channels, etc. Why are hispanics not capable of integration? Do you see a Korean channel? Do you see that on a box of Bisquik? No.

World over it is the same. The world will plunder latin america since they are so very far behind the times. Because they are not bulding their union of states.

It's not 'only', but the overwhelming majority are Mexican, and Mexicans and Central Americans are using the Mexican border to cross. The overwhelming majority in FL are from Latin America. But, we have the biggest problems with the Mexican border. Even Arabs are crossing over from Mexico.

Anyway, look at the stats and you'll see why the Mexicans are the central focus. BTW, Mexican is not a race.

Well, let's see, mexican government encourages it's poorest to come here and receives 20 billion dollars in remittances annually. The vast majority of illegals are from mexico. They have 60 consulates in the USA. Mexican presidents keep pushing for amnesty for them. The protests in the streets waving mexican flags.

They are not immigrants - they are invaders.

The majority of illegals here are of Hispanic decent. They have dark skin and speak Spanish, so are often considered to be Mexican.

Mexicans are the largest group of illegals here. And the most vocal. They have groups (La Raza, Mecha) promoting the cause of the illegal immigrant - and LOUDLY in the streets. This makes them BY FAR the most visible.

Because basicly half of all Undocumented immigrants are mexican, from there it varies in smaller numbers, but the majority of all Undocumented Immigrants are hispanic. Also since 60% of all Illegal Ailens come across the Southern border, we tend to generalize all that come across the southern border as Mexican, even if their simply hispanic from somewhere else.

Because our border with Mexico is far easier to cross than our border with Japan (which is the Pacific ocean). it is far easier for a Mexican national to enter the US illegally than for a Japaneses national.
