I agree, Nina and I would like to point out that such lists are inclusive however they are not exclusive. No list of sins can ever be exhaustive because sin separates us from our heavenly Father.
We are saved to DO good works.
We are not saved BY good works.
For His glory,
JOYfilled

Absolutely! Because even our good deeds are totaly permeated by and corrupted with these vile thoughts and behaviors that you mention here that are at least an allusion to Romans 1:29-30, even while we are in the very act of doing these otherwise good deeds! "All of us have become unclean, and all our righteous acts are likely filthy rags (used menstral cloths); we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away." (Isaiah 64:6) Truly, outside of our radically dependent relationship on our gracious God, there's really everything about our ways to be ashamed about, and absolutely nothing that we can boast about, before our loving Creator and Judge, Whom knows all.
Btw, Joyfilled's answer is the bomb!

I agree with the first part...disagree with the idea that it is good that we are not saved by deeds, because I would think that most people could transcend the pettyness of all but self-centeredness, lying, and anger (which are incredibly hard to remove from yourself) if you thought that it was required of yourself.

I agree and you are RIGHT, thank God he doesn't base our 'works' on whether or not salvation is offered.
How we treat others is important though so if we are professing that we are followers of God, all of the things you mentioned, are things we should ask the Lord to remove from our lives and give us victory over these things.

Doing good things is our passes to heaven.
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
On the other hand, if we do bad we will not inherit salvation.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Galatians 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedition's, heresies,
Galatians 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Agreed. As we are all guilty of them, and more, thank God for Jesus. That His blood reconciled us to God. How could we possibly thank Him enough? We can not. Many blessings.
